Why should I contact a vet on a Sunday?
As the vast majority of vets are closed on Sundays, you will need to contact emergency services or establishments that are open 24 hours a day.
Consequently, to access this type of service, your pet must :
- Be ill, in an acute situation or decompensating
- Be the victim of an accident or trauma
- Be at the end of its life, and in need of euthanasia to avoid unnecessary suffering.
To find out whether you can be taken care of by an emergency service, the switchboards are there to help you and advise you on what to do.
